Florida's lost jobs

Gov. Rick Scott brags about Florida's job gains, but there's more to the story than ribbon cuttings. The state lost 49,163 jobs at companies with more than 100 employees between January 2011 and November 2013, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) data. This data is required to be reported to the federal government by large employers in advance of any plant closing or mass layoffs. Related story »
